Time to relax? NO!

Well, we’ve shipped out to all of our subscribers, distributed to the shops carrying us, and the list of tasks seems mildly lighter. Top of that list though, take a spin, enjoy the blue skies we’ve been waiting for. Next on the list is helping make this years Vibrator as good as last years, and of course, everything to do to put it together issue #4.

In case you’ve not noticed it before, we have a Sneak Peek Section now. Make sure to check it out. There you’ll find a pdf to a portion of the 8 page feature Community Service as well as the content and footnotes to the The Bicycle Noose piece found in the same issue.

We’ve also included in our Content section issue #2’sarticle on Daniel Featherhead. He has already departed on his ride to Nova Scotia. Daniel is intent on getting to Minnesota by the 8th of June, he’s estimated that to be 215 miles a day in order to make a wedding he has to attend (no worries ladies, he’s still single, just attending). We’re featuring his weblog on his progress as it comes home to us here online, so keep an eye on the site for more updates or just check his blog.

Other News…

As mentioned previously, we have also decided to adjust our distribution schedule a bit; rather than a bi-monthly publication, well be publishing Cranked quarterly. We’ll still satisfy everyone’s previously ordered 6 issue subscription, but all new subscriptions will only be for 4 issues. Don’t worry, youll just be able to enjoy Cranked a little longer, so expect issue #4 to come out sometime in August. This quarterly schedule will allow us to research our articles further, add more content, and lessen the burden of advertising for our supporters. We’ve also included a shopping cart so that you can order back issues and subscriptions easier, check it out on the right there.

Issue #2 is almost gone, and we only have a small supply of issue #1; order back issues with the links on our new store page. If you want to pick up a subscription, links are also in our store, your subscription will begin with issue #3, unless otherwise noted. If you want to physically pick up a copy, you can find us in bike shops, book shops, and of course, from us personally. If you live outside the Northwest it might be harder, but it’s getting easier; our store also has links to all of our retail shops carrying Cranked as well.
